Welcome to my blog! I hope to share a variety of posts on here including cooking meals, visits to restaurants, nutrition science and interesting articles.

I graduated with a Nutrition BSc Hons degree and I have a passion for food an health. Food affects out physical and mental health and our general well being. It is important that everyone understands food and is interested in it in order to be able to make healthy choices and to enjoy food. With the rise of chronic illness such as diabetes, obesity and heart disease in the UK it is important that everyone begins to learn about food and how it affects them and how they can access nourishing foods easily. We also need to understand food so that we aren’t harmed by false science and claims in the media and are able to keep a healthy relationship with food without being restrictive or controlling. Exploring intuitive eating and health at every size is an important next step I want to take in my journey to learn about food. Along side this we need to think about how sustainable our food choices are for the future of our planet. I hope to have a career working with people in order to make positive differences to lives through food and nutrition advice. I want to get involved and help create healthy and happy food communities which bring people together through a love and understanding of food and cooking.
